Real-time intelligence for hazardous environments

PRIME Alert combines physiological, local environmental and global environmental information to support faster, better-informed operational decisions.

PRIME Alert is an innovative artificial-intelligence approach to improving the safety, effectiveness and awareness of first responders and soldiers working in high-risk environments.

These environments may include natural disasters such as hurricanes, floods and fires, as well as combat situations involving nerve agents, toxic substances, caves, tunnels and other confined or inaccessible spaces.

Unlike systems that address only one type of risk or one category of sensor, PRIME Alert is conceived as a comprehensive solution for estimating danger in real time. The system combines information concerning the individual responder, the immediate micro-environment and the wider operational environment.

Integrated intelligence

Three complementary sources of operational data

AI-enhanced on-site decisions are generated by combining physiological measurements, micro-environmental sensing and wider environmental information.

Vital parameters

Monitoring of indicators such as blood oxygen saturation, heart rate and respiratory rate to assess the physical condition and stress level of each responder.

Micro-environmental conditions

Local sensing of air quality, toxic substances, temperature and other conditions immediately surrounding the responder.

Global environmental data

Integration of information obtained from radar, meteorological stations and other external monitoring systems.

Operational concept

From distributed sensing to coordinated action

PRIME Alert creates a continuous information loop between personnel in the field, the artificial-intelligence layer and the Command Unit.

Field personnel

First responders and soldiers carry physiological and environmental sensors while operating in hazardous areas.

AI analysis and alert generation

Sensor data are collected and transformed to estimate danger, predict stress levels and generate personalised alerts and automated health advice.

Command Unit

A multi-user software platform supports continuous monitoring and operational commands, including regrouping and extraction.
